BEFORE APPOINTMENT
The following steps will help ensure your extensions adhere properly to your natural lashes.
Please come with clean lashes as extensions will not adhere to dirty lashes and it will greatly impact retention. Avoid coming with foundation, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara etc around the eye area.
No caffeine prior to your lash appointment as caffeine can cause flutter eyes making lashing nearly impossible.
Appointment duration is listed at the time of booking as well as in reminder text / email. Please plan your day accordingly. Once the service has started you will not be able to open your eyes to prevent any eye sensitivity or risk your lashes not being as full as desired.
Arrive on time as a 15 minute grace period is given to all appointment however please keep in mind that appointment duration will not be extended. Anticipated arrival past 15 minutes will result in cancellation of appointment and 100% service fee will be charged to card on file.
No guests allowed, this is your time to relax and get pampered.
AFTERCARE
The following steps will help your extensions last longer between appointments and help maintain the integrity of your natural lashes.
Wash your lashes daily as natural oils, debris, old skin, makeup etc. builds up on the lash line. Use a lash cleanser and brush to cleanse your lash extensions daily. Using swiping motions from left to right cleansing above and below the lash line, then rinse with water. Use a lint-free towel to pat them dry or use a fan / blow dryer on a cool setting keeping it at arms length away. Wash your lashes twice a day, morning and night especially if you're an oily skin type.
Brush your lashes daily with spoolie from midway to the tip of extension to avoid snagging the base of the lash extension.
No picking or pulling on extensions as this can cause damage to your natural lashes. If your lash extensions are causing discomfort, such as poking or tender feeling, let us know immediately as it may be time for a fill. If you habitually pick/pull, you might not be a candidate for lash extensions.
Avoid high heat such as ovens, candles, cigarettes, lighters, campfires, and hair dryers on high as these can singe (melt) the tips of your extensions (they are made of synthetic fibers). If lashes become singed you will require a removal and a new full set.
Fills are recommended every 2-3 weeks based on your retention. You must have at least 50% of your lashes remaining or a new set will be required. If you are unsure please ask at your next appointment.
